Dispensary Technician

We are looking for a qualified technician to join our team at Community Pharmacy Linwood, ideally with several years of experience.

We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm so a 40-hour week with no weekend or public holiday work.

​

Please do not apply if you do not have a Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) from Open Polytechnic NZ or Academy NZ.

We have a very good relationship with the local general practice team next door which enables us to collectively look after our patients well. Our patient population has high needs and are of various backgrounds/ethnicities. We can really make a difference to them each day with the little things that help them navigate through the health system.

The position mainly involves regular dispensing duties and community Medico packs (no rest homes).

​

We would like someone working at the top of their game who enjoys the patient interactions as well as being on the dispensary bench. We need this person to support our pharmacist(s) in providing clinical care to our patients. You will be working as part of a small dispensary team, usually a sole charge pharmacist and 2 other staff (intern/tech/PACT).

Can be an immediate start but happy to work through that with you. Remuneration will be fair, based on your experience and market rates. Applicants for this position need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
