Dispensary Technician (qualified or in training)

We are looking for a qualified dispensary technician, or someone already studying to become a dispensary technician. You'll join our team of 7 dispensary technicians, and 4 pharmacists, and have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of our busy dispensary.

Our life is made easier with automation, including EV-54 and Alpaca robots, with additional counting and deblistering machines. The large dispensary is set up for an efficient and practical work flow. We are well supported by a retail team of pharmacy assistants.

As part of a technician team you'll work to a weekly roster, so that everyone knows how to do every job. This gives variety to your working week, and means that responsibility is shared. We're open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday morning 9am to noon. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays. Full-time hours preferred, and one Saturday morning per month. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.

A competitive hourly rate is offered, depending on experience and whether you are still in training, or a Level 4 or Level 5 technician. Opportunity to train as a PACT technician can also be considered. Our pharmacy owner is a past TOPNZ tutor and workplace assessor.
