About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team, providing care across both Tauranga and Whakatane hospitals. Tauranga is a busy, fast-growing hospital offering a wide range of specialist services, while Whakatane is a smaller general hospital known for its strong community spirit and commitment to serving a diverse regional population. You can choose to be primarily based at either site, with some travel between them—giving you the best of both worlds.
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals.
Our dedicated clinical pharmacy team is expanding to meet increasing demand, and we're committed to supporting your professional development across a broad scope of hospital pharmacy practice. We welcome applications from current Pharmacy Interns, and we're also open to considering experienced pharmacists, including specialists and pharmacist prescribers, who bring the right expertise.
We're seeking a collaborative team player with a passion for clinical pharmacy and excellent communication skills. At Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, our pharmacists are key members of multidisciplinary teams, working together to deliver high-quality medicines management and patient care.
About You
The successful applicant will be patient focused, have excellent communication skills and be willing to share their knowledge. Participation in on-call and weekend roster is an expectation.
You must be registered or be able to register with the Pharmacy Council of NZ.
