About the role

This is an opportunity is best suited for NZ based, Qualified and Registered pharmacists. This role will not be suitable for international candidates or candidates without registration with the NZ Pharmacy council.

​

Join a specialty field of work within the medicinal cannabis industry. This team is seeking a committed, unconventional thinker keen to expand their own personal knowledge in a growing area of specialised expertise.

​

Full time, 1 year, fixed term position - Maternity leave cover with potential to go permanent

​

Monday - Saturday role. Saturday shifts are rotating and only for 3 hours.

​

Clinic hours: 0800am - 1900pm. Early shifts finish by 5pm, later shifts start at 11am

​

Ideally looking to fill this vacancy by late April in preparation for the mat leave cover

​

What you have to do

​

Work in a closed pharmacy with click and collect or courier orders out to patients

​

Accurately distribute medications from prescriptions

​

Provide expert advice on the use, benefits, and potential side effects of various cannabis products

​

Educate patients on dosage, administration methods, and safe usage practices

​

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medicinal cannabis research and developments

​

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations

​

Manage inventory, including proper storage and documentation of cannabis products

​

Efficiently manage your workload to meet the demands of an amazing new field

​

Skills and Experience

​

NZ recognised Tertiary level qualification in Pharmacy

​

Successful candidates will already have registration with the Pharmacy Council of NZ

​

The ideal candidate would be someone with at least 1 year experience but all levels of pharmacists are welcome to apply

​

High attention to detail

Great communication skills

​

Candidates should hold rights to work and live in NZ with either citizenship or a VISA already in place
