Unichem Hamilton East Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Hamilton East, Waikato. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and advice to our patients, ensuring their well-being and the safe dispensing of medications.

What you'll be doing

​

• Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications, ensuring patients receive the correct drugs and dosages
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients, addressing their questions and concerns
• Monitor patient medication usage and recommend adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide additional services including vaccinating, CPAMs.

What we're looking for

​

• Qualified Pharmacist with a valid practicing certificate for NZ
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare providers
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centred care and adhering to professional and ethical standards
• Willingness to continually learn and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical field
