Pharmacist Position - Whangārei
Are you a skilled pharmacist with keen communication skills, dedicated to delivering old-fashioned patient care? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our large and dynamic team in the beautiful Northland region.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient services, including but certainly not limited to prescriptions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a private hospital setting to support patients.
Provide clinical services, including preparation of discharge scripts and specialised services such as:
Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP)
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) treatments
Marivet
Clozapine
Suboxone
Methadone
Travel health
Deliver vaccinations and contribute to community health initiatives.
Manage Medico blister packs and support medication management for rest homes.
Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) or a reciprocal degree from Australia, the USA, Canada, or the UK.
Proven clinical experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

A unique, flexible schedule working only 4 days a week:
Wednesday to Saturday, OR
Sunday to Wednesday.
There are plenty of other pharmacists to share your weekend day for special events.
Two pharmacists are on duty on weekends, so there is very little need to be the sole charge (apart from your lunch break).
