The Role
Vaiola Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in Onehunga, Auckland. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in the growth and success of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient-centred care, including medication reviews, patient education, and monitoring for adverse drug reactions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy procedures and protocols
- Participate in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- New Zealand Registered Pharmacist with a valid Practising Certificate
- Must be Registered with the New Zealand Pharmacy Council
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge, with a focus on patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and the wider team
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
