Pharmacy Retail Assistant (Maternity Leave Cover)

Pahiatua Pharmacy is currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Pharmacy Retail Assistant to join our team in a busy community-focused pharmacy.
This is a fixed-term position for maternity leave cover (12-month contract), perfect for someone passionate about customer service and interested in working in a health-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner
Basic computer operations and process sales and handle cash/EFTPOS transactions
Well groomed and able to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store and displays
Replenish stock and manage inventory/ storage
Ability to work professionally and with confidentiality
Support pharmacists with general tasks as required
Requirements:
A positive attitude is essential, and a willingness to learn
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask with efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
